Open for walk-in customers from 12pm - 6pm weekends, school holidays and public holidays; available for bookings any other time.
Based right at the end of the wharf in beautiful Days Bay, we offer kayak and stand-up paddleboard hire to explore this beautiful bay from the water, or to explore on land take one of our guided walks up into the hills for fantastic views looking out over the bay and Wellington harbour. Bike and eBike hire is also available for those wanting to head around the bays and out to Pencarrow or the Hutt River.

Hire some gear from us and enjoy a relaxing cruise around the beautiful Days Bay. Hireage includes everything you need to get safely out on the water: your kayak or paddleboard, along with paddles and lifejackets (to fit everyone from XXS toddlers to XXL adults). We also have a staff member dedicated to watching over the bay and making sure everyone's safe and sound, and wetsuits available so you can stay toasty warm on the water.

Cruiser Bike, Mountain Bike & eBike hire at Days Bay
Days Bay is one of Wellington's most popular beaches, and the wider area is great for exploring by bike. Jump on one of our comfort cruiser bikes, comfort mountain bikes, or electric bikes, and cruise Eastbourne's bays and cafes or Pencarrow's lighthouses and lakes with amazing views of the Kaikoura Ranges.
