Watersports Instructors

Wildfinder is an outdoor adventure company, running tours and gear hire that gets people into mountain biking, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, bush walks and even white water rafting. We’re after some awesome watersports instructors, to become part of the Wildfinder team on a casual part time basis:

Lead Instructor:

You’ll be the glue that holds our school watersports programmes together - operating out of our site in Days Bay, you’ll be leading school groups (with support from assistant instructors); teaching kids the basics of kayaking and paddleboarding, and organising water games to put these skills into practise. You’ll be in charge of time management of the sessions, in line with school schedules. You’ll love working with kids and helping them learn whilst having an awesome time.

Assistant Instructor:

Operating out of our site in days Bay, you’ll be assisting the Lead Instructor with our school watersports programmes. Helping fit life jackets, teaching kids the basics of kayaking, and assisting out on the water in organised games. You’ll love helping the kids and watching them learn new skills, whilst they have a great time out on the water.

For both roles:

There will also be the opportunity for casual customer service work at our Days Bay site during the summer months: helping get guests out onto the water, water safety, booking in guests, and making real fruit icecreams!

It's a busy job, and if you’re the right person that’ll be something you thrive on. Our team prides itself on being inclusive and positive, and that coupled with our clients generally being a stoked bunch that are having awesome adventures, means there’s a great vibe around the place. It’s definitely not your typical job, and if you’re anything like us, you’ll think that’s a great thing.
