You take pride in being organised and efficient, have excellent written and spoken communication skills, and are keen to learn and grow in a role with us. You don't necessarily need to have any specific qualifications or experience - this role is all about your attitude and approach to work - but you'll get bonus points for interest in the outdoors, experience or confidence with the programs and platforms we use, or social media / marketing capabilities.
About Wildfinder
Wildfinder are Wellington’s outdoor experience experts. We host and facilitate all sorts of adventures across the region, from multiday cycle tours around the Remutaka Cycle Trail and Wairarapa, to school kayaking sessions in Days Bay and white water rafting down Te Awa Kairangi. We’re a tight little team, with 15-20 of us throughout the season across all of our sites and operations. We come from a variety of backgrounds, but share a vision of creating great experiences for our guests and staff alike. Our main offices are at Pencarrow (literally a stone’s throw from the water) and this is where the administrative functions of the business are performed most of the time, though given the small dynamic nature of the team there’ll be days where you’re at our Days Bay or Kaitoke sites, or out on the trail helping support cycle tours. It’s a bit different to your standard office job, but if you’re anything like us you’ll think that’s a great thing!
About the Role - Tasks & Responsibilities
Treating our guests to friendly and professional communication via email and phone
Invoicing guests and maintaining accounts (Xero)
Maintaining and improving booking systems (Rezdy) and websites (Squarespace)
Responding and engaging with guests through our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
Keeping the team's wheels on, through maintaining and updating rosters and work schedules to reflect bookings (Google Sheets)
Ordering stock and supplies, booking in vehicles for service and maintenance, etc.
Primary Package
$25-$30 per hour depending on experience etc
30-40 hours per week (we can work this out between us)
Fulltime permanent contract
Some weekend work (minimum of 1 day per fortnight, but we can figure this out between us)
